About 简介

I am born and raised in Singapore, a tropical garden city country.  This is my first blog.  The idea of starting a blog began around 2015 and it was until late 2016 that this blog was created.  During that near one year period, it has remained as a private blog while I tried to figure out the features, layout, coding, HTML, etc.  A lot of time and effort was put in but the process was fun.  It is never late to learn something new, better late than never!  I'll be writing on stuff which I enjoy doing, and that includes sharing information with others.  At present, the blog focuses on my favourite mobile game, Tsum Tsum and also some of my travel trips.  Hopefully readers will like and share the posts.


Below is a quote which I like, excerpt from 2007 animated film, Ratatouille, the review by Anton Ego, the critic.  This summarises one of the reasons which I don't often write reviews cos one man's food is another man's poison.  My posts will focus more on factual than my opinion.
"In many ways, the work of a critic is easy.  We risk very little, yet enjoy a position over those who offer up their work and their selves to our judgement.  We thrive on negative criticism, which is fun to write and to read.  But the bitter truth we critics must face is that in the grand scheme of things, the average piece of junk is probably more meaningful than our criticism designating it so.  But there are times when a critic truly risks something and that is in the discovery and defense of the new.  The world is often unkind to new talent, new creations.  The new needs friends.
Not everyone can become a great artist, but a great artist can come from anywhere."

以下是一段我很喜欢的摘引,来自2007年的动画电影“料理鼠王”,美食评论家安东·伊古的评论。这也正是为何我比较不爱写评论,因为各花入各眼,我的文章会尽量重于实际资料。
